Spinola Gardens CCTV Was Down During Weekend Murder
CCTV cameras inside Spinola Gardens in St Julian's were not working at the time a man was murdered there over the weekend, though police still identified and arrested a suspect within two hours using footage from elsewhere.
A 31-year-old Moroccan man was found dead in the garden on St George's Road on Sunday morning. The cameras that should have captured the incident were offline at the time of his death.
Whilst the CCTV within the gardens itself had failed, police were still able to identify and apprehend a suspect in under two hours, with the help of footage from elsewhere.
