We started because nobody was talking to us

SideStreet began as a simple frustration: Malta's news was written for people twice our age, about things that happened to someone else.

So we built the thing we wanted. Short, straight explainers about what is actually going on. Street views that put a microphone in front of people our age instead of talking over them. Stories about work, rent, politics and nights out, told without the lecture.
