Motorcyclist Dies After Early Morning Crash In Attard
A 31-year-old Colombian national died at Mater Dei Hospital after his motorcycle overturned in Attard in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The man, who resided in Gżira, was involved in a crash at approximately 2.30am along Vjal l-Istadjum Nazzjonali in Attard. He reportedly lost control of his Voge SR motorcycle, causing it to overturn.
Emergency services attended the scene and he was transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was later certified dead.
A magistrate has since been notified and an inquiry formally appointed. Police investigations into the circumstances of the fatal accident remain ongoing.
