Mosta Motorcyclist Critically Injured After Van Collision
A 38-year-old motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a collision involving a van in Mosta on Thursday evening.
The crash took place at approximately 6.30pm along Triq il-Missjunarji Maltin. The motorcyclist, riding a Yamaha, was struck by a Toyota Hiace driven by a 51-year-old woman from Rabat. A medical team attended to him at the scene before he was transferred to hospital by ambulance, where he was certified as having suffered serious injuries. Police investigations into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing. Should Malta be doing more to improve road safety for motorcyclists?
