Marsa Man Accused of Raping Ex-Girlfriend Granted Bail
A 29-year-old man from Marsa has been granted bail after being charged with nine offences linked to alleged domestic violence against his former partner, including rape and choking.
The man was brought before Magistrate Abigail Critien under arrest after his ex-girlfriend reported being physically assaulted, triggering a formal investigation into the alleged incidents.
He pleaded not guilty to all nine charges brought against him.
Despite the severity of the allegations, the court ruled in favour of releasing him on bail pending further proceedings.
