Man Denied Bail After Smashing Car Window in Qawra
A 34-year-old man has been remanded in custody after allegedly smashing a car's passenger-side window in Qawra in the early hours of the morning.
Giuliano Baldi, who was born in Switzerland and resides in Italy, appeared in court charged with wilful damage. He denied the allegation and told the court he is currently unemployed.
Police Inspector Bradley Grima told the court that Qawra police station had received a call at around 1.15am reporting the incident.
Magistrate Giannella Camilleri Busuttil presided over the sitting. Baldi was assisted by legal aid lawyer Victor Bugeja.
Baldi was denied bail and remanded in custody.
