Man Charged Over St Julian’s Death Was Already Wanted In Poland
The Polish tourist charged over the death of a man in St Julian’s was already wanted by police in Poland, according to Times of Malta.
Sebastian Malinowski, 27, was the subject of a wanted notice issued by police in Gdańsk on 15 December 2025 over suspected bodily harm.
However, Times of Malta reported that Malinowski was not on a Europol wanted list, meaning the Polish notice would not have been automatically flagged to Maltese or international authorities.
The Polish offence he was wanted over carries a maximum sentence of two years.
