Instagram has taken upon itself to temporarily ban our account on their platform for a week. As many of you know, Instagram is our main outlet as a news site and remains extremely important to us.
But we don’t want you to miss a beat.
So we’re going to be increasing the amount of content flowing to our website, Facebook page, TikTok and Twitter accounts. We would advise you to head there to continue to get your daily dose of news.
We’ll also be using this week off of Instagram to rethink our platform and we encourage anyone who has been following us for a while to message our inbox with any suggestions you may have to better improve our content quality.
So is our Instagram going to be dead this week?
No. We are still able to upload limited amounts of content to the platform which we will continue to do over the next few days. However, as mentioned above; we really wish to use this as an opportunity to get some of you to check out our website and other outlets more often as they allow us to generate much more in-depth and engaging content.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. We have massive respect for each and every one of you who chooses to get their news from SideStreet everyday and we’ll do our utmost not to let you guys down.
