A pale-pink modernist house in Balzan looks all set to be torn down, making way for a garage with four car spaces, a ground floor maisonette and three apartments.
The house is called “Walmarville” and is designed in a unique 1920s modernist style which remained in vogue in Malta until around the 1960s.
But the iconic location has been scheduled for demolition after permits by the planning authority were released.
However, you’re still in time to voice your opposition against the project.
Head over to the planning authority’s website and file an application against the project. The reference number is PA/06555/20.
Check out our stories for instructions on how to lodge your application.
