Teenage activist Tommy Wallbank has just successfully run 1,000km to raise funds for charities that provide cancer support.
Back in March Tommy Wallbank, 16, set up a fundraiser where for every €5 donated, Tommy would run 1km.
Exceeding initial targets, Tommy raised a whopping €8,473 through the initiative and ran a total of 1000km over the span of 5 months.
The money was raised in memory of his childhood friend Rebecca Zammit Lupi, who passed away after battling cancer earlier this year.
Donations to the cause are still being accepted. Funds raised are being donated to Puttinu Cares.
