The Leader of the Nationalist Party Bernard Grech has conceded defeat in the 2022 general elections. His general secretary Michael Piccinino told TVM that Grech had already phoned up Prime Minister Robert Abela to congratulate him on his electoral victory.
Piccinino said that the Nationalist Party would continue to offer a strong opposition to the government, representing the thousands of Maltese people who voted for a PN government. The precise amount of votes between the two parties is not yet known, but should be revealed in the early hours of Monday morning.
