5 Things to Do For Under €10 In Malta

Funds running low but still want to enjoy the last month of summer?

Here are our top picks for activities to do in Malta for under €10!

1. Buy 25 pastizzi at Serkin

Crystal Palace, more commonly known as tas-Serkin, is arguably Malta's #1 pastizzi spot.

With a singular pastizz setting you back just 40c, €10 could get you up to 25 pastizzi, for you and all your friends!

2. Visit masterpieces at Muża

Featuring a collection of works from the Old Masters, you can enjoy a lovely evening in Valletta's very own art museum.

Key works include those by Southern Italian artist Mattia Preti, British 20th century artist Victor Pasmore and Malta’s own top 20th-century sculptor Antonio Sciortino.

3. A film at Spazju Kreattiv Cinema

If the films at Eden or Embassy aren't doing it for you, the cinema in Spazju Kreattiv offers a selection of plenty of international and arthouse films.

They also screen a programme of international seasons of music, theatre and dance that are streamed to the cinema. These include the National Theatre, the Met Opera, the Bolshoi Ballet, and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

4. Visit Birgu Flea market

You can head over on a Tuesday or Sunday to find anything from a Dom Mintoff Painting to a vintage pair of jeans for a fraction of their original price.

You never know what bargain or oddity you may find.

5. Go kayaking in Għadira bay.

If you enjoy spending time in the water, renting a kayak in Mellieħa for an hour will only cost €10

Summer's soon over, so it's now or never.

Will you be trying any of these?
